Soviet combat vehicles during WWII - part 1

This Soviet tank was used during invasion of Poland in 1939. Equipped with 45 mm L/46 main gun.

This medium Soviet tank was developed in early 1930's. In the early stages of WWII it appeared ineffective and troublesome forcing Russians to replace it with more powerful and upgradable tank platform.

Soviet light tank equipped with 45 mm Model 1932/38 20-K gun. The tank was operated by a driver and a commander who loaded and fired the gun.

Superior to german constructions at the begining of WWII. Until 50mm and 75mm guns were introduced by Germans, it's hull was very difficult to penetrate.

Created to counter german Tigers and Panthers. Production started in 1944. It was equipped with 85 mm ZiS-S-53 gun.
